In only 16 weeks and it feels like this, I can’t walk quickly. Anyone else had this? I can’t fathom that some women go jogging etc, I couldn’t physically, and hope this isn’t something abnormal as I’m not even half way

@SophieRules I'm 17 weeks and have had this on and off for a few weeks. I mentioned to my midwife and she said round ligament pains, things loosening up etc. I thought round ligament pains were around the belly but that was the best explanation I was given 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mine feel like I've spent 192729286 hours just climbing stairs, right at the top of my thighs and groin. It's a little better since I started using a pregnancy pillow, but I don't have a bump yet so it feels a bit dramatic to have a massive pillow.

I've also started wearing my proper running trainers instead of my usual boots/Converse 🥲 I used to run 5k 3 times a week and have been lucky if I can walk slowly for 30 mins since I was around 6 weeks. I have no idea how those other women just continue with whatever they were doing before, this pregnancy has floored me.

Sorry it's not a proper answer! But you aren't alone. If it affects your everyday life (can't go a day without pain relief, hurts all the time), mention it to your midwife/a doctor. It could be PGP which sounds absolutely horrific. 😬
