I’ve been having random tightenings over the last week. I went into triage yesterday and was having really mild braxton hicks. All of a sudden I started having full blown contractions. The midwife quickly did a speculum expecting to see a head however my cervix was very much closed. I was sent home and the midwife said she thinks I could potentially go on and have my baby that night or within the next few days. I went home continued contracting through out the night however the contractions never progressed. I’ve woken up this morning and they have slowed right down and almost stopped all together. What does this mean? I was really excited that it was finally time to have baby and now I just feel defeated
