Due on period - pregnancy symptoms but bleeding

Can anyone advice?

Had a variety of 'pregnancy symptoms' last week or so... now I don't have blood in my urine but have bits of blood in my vag* when I wipe? Has anyone experienced this and what was your experience?

If you’re due now then a test would show if you’re pregnant or not

When was your period due?
What were your symptoms?
Have you done a test yet?

Don't apologise!! Due tomorrow..been extremely tired , nausea, back ache, mild cramps, and pelvic cramps round ovulation... tested before and had a faint line (we could see it but unsure if evap) now all neg x

Period symptoms can be exactly the same as pregnancy symptoms.

Thank you its just that I've never had these Symptoms with any other period

Could you test again tomorrow?

Yes, good idea thankyou... just wanted to hear others stories because I'm scared I will be heavier tomorrow and I suppose I'm clenching onto that little bit of hope x

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy if your faint line has turned negative. I'm sorry 😔

My 1st round of IVF I had a faint positive 5 days before period was due (I was testing obsessively) Also had really strong symptoms.
The line never got any darker though and then one day I woke up and all my symptoms had disappeared.

I'm so sorry to hear that! It's horrible what our bodies do.. must have been really tough, I can only sympathise x

It is, but you have to remember that not every embryo is viable, and nature has a way of dealing with that. Pregnancy tests never used to be this sensitive, and so we had less awareness of this happening because you could only test after a missed period.
It's tough, though.

So a little update, the bleeding is slightly heavier this morning, however no where near as heavy as it usually is. X

I hope it works out ok for you. Are you able to tests again this morning?

Update : ended up going doctors and they said it's an early miscarriage- under 5 weeks 😔

Please take comfort from the fact that millions of women - including me - had early miscarriages and went on to have successful pregnancies.
