Morning sickness worse with #2??

Basically what the title says😖
Recently found out I am pregnant with dc2 and with dc1 my morning sickness and actively being sick didn’t really start up until around 7/8 weeks and died down after 12 weeks and even then it really wasn’t that bad. As I now have found out I’m pregnant again I feel as though as soon as I seen those two lines on the tests my sickness has hit me SO much stronger and faster than my first pregnancy! Has anyone else experienced the same with their second pregnancy or even subsequent pregnancies compared to their first??

Yes, my second and third pregnancies were a lot worse than my first in terms of symptoms but by around 11/12 weeks it had got better each time. I have friends who haven't had any sickness with any of their pregnancies though, some women are lucky in that sense 😆

@readyforroundthree i thought I was going crazy with it being so strong so early 🤣but I suppose that I should take it as a good sign too because I know if I had no sickness I would be worrying then too, the anxiety never stops 😫🤣

@Luisemol23 my sickness usually kicked in bang on 6 weeks and it went from absolutely nothing to brutal 🤣 I feel for you, but hopefully it will only last a few weeks!

With dc1 sickness started at 7 weeks and ended at 14 weeks (and mine increased from occasional to more intense during that).

This time it started at 4/5weeks but oddly it ended at 9 weeks (similar intensity but I would say by the end of this one it was very bad). I’m now 25 weeks for reference.

In my case, yes, much worse (and both girls so not sex related)

Second pregnancy it started earlier, was more extreme and lasted longer

Yep - with my first I started feeling nauseous and tired at bang on 6 weeks and by 9 weeks it was getting less and by 12 I felt great again.
I’m just over 9 weeks with no2 now and the tiredness and nausea started at 5 weeks and have not seemed to get any less. I’ve definitely felt much more nauseous than first time round. Even food aversions have started super early this time. I didn’t have any until the final weeks of my first pregnancy but this time I’ve been struggling with fruit and meat already.

its nice to know that I’m not alone in that sense I felt as though I was making up the sickness in my head (like the placebo effect almost lol) because surely it’s too early but there is definitely no mistaking it😂 I sent my partner to the shop for a few bits for dinner earlier and every option he named for dinner was turning my stomach and leaving an awful taste in mouth🙈I only found out I was pregnant 4 days ago and I am suffering this badly already 😖
