Hi just looking for some information, I had my 12 week scan scheduled for 8th January, we done the tests for Down syndrome and others also so just awaiting g the results. My next appointment was scheduled for 27th January which I would just be going on 16weeks, but I noticed yesterday they have now given me another appointment for the 20th and states reason not specified. I didn’t think I would be seen this much this early on, and now I’m worrying maybe something has shown up on scan which is a reason they are taking me back in.

had anyone else had so many appointments this early within the month? Starting to stress myself out

Try not to stress but you could always give them ( maternity or midwives ) a call to see what the appointment is for , what does it say on badger notes ? Xx

Mumof3xoxx · 12/01/2025 12:42

I’m thinking of calling them tomorrow, it just says beside reason ; reason unspecified

Ask them?

Mumof3xoxx · 12/01/2025 12:55

They are closed, was just because I noticed it and worrying a little, was just wondering if anyone else had appointments like this

It easier said than done but try not stress too much about it. It might just be they’ve changed the date of your appointment without telling you!
The majority of information in my badgers app said reason unspecified or information not published as whoever entered the data only put dates of appointments. My midwife used to joke about how bad she was at publishing the bits I wanted to see, everything was up to date their end.

Try keep yourself busy today and remind yourself that there’s nothing you can do until you can phone them tomorrow.

I know going to get myself out and keep myself distracted and be straight on the phone at 9am lol!. Thank you

Does it still say you've got an appointment on the 27th Jan ? Xx

Dullblue1234 · 12/01/2025 14:25

Often I get an appt appear on badgernotes, then an email letter the following day!

sel2223 · 12/01/2025 15:43

I've had all kinds of random appointments added on there - the latest was a telephone appt with consultant. Could it be that?

Bluebella27 · 12/01/2025 17:32

I'm new to Badger (moved to a different city half way through pregnancy) but I also had an appointment which wasn't specified - when I phoned midwife she looked it up and it was my GD glucose test that had been scheduled.
So I think it's normal though annoying not have appointments specified. If there was anything worrying they would call you x

Mumof3xoxx · 12/01/2025 18:56

Yes I still have the appointment on for the 27th also , for some reason I never get an email with anything from it, I just have to go on and have a look myself for appointments.

I’ve not been made aware of any telephone appointments, plus it states it is back at the hospital, not the health centre which the midwife’s are based.

a few people have said if it was anything to worry about the. Surely they would have called me about it

They would definitely have called if there was anything to be worried about.

The badger notes takes some getting used to. I've had so many appointments added which are either not specified or with some kind of code language - the last telephone appointment says nothing on the app about it being a phone appointment and lists the hospital as the location. Only found out it was a phone appointment when I got an email reminder the day before.

Also had my GTT added on there which I didn't know what that was either until I googled it.

TheThreeMiracles · 13/01/2025 12:19

@Mumof3xoxx did you find out? Xx

Bluebella27 · 21/01/2025 12:30

All my appointments on Badger have said non specified l, I find it a really sloppy and impersonal system!
This is my 3rd pregnancy and just moved to a city where Badger is used, I miss my physical blue folder of notes I used to get preciously!

Mumof3xoxx · 21/01/2025 16:52

Sorry hadn’t seen these posts, I have a condition and it was just to pull me in to see a consultant for a care plan, and all my results were low risk so all is good. Thank you
