Hey! I'm just wondering whether anyone else has had the same / similar experience.
Went for a 4D re-scan at 30 weeks yesterday (first one was 10 days prior but couldn't get good face pictures so they rescanned). On the rescan they noted a large 38mm x 47mm x 39mm cyst on the left side of baby's abdomen, above the bladder roughly where the kidney should be and could not see the kidney itself on that side. This was not noted on the scan 10days prior and 20w scan was fine apart from they did struggle to visualise one of the kidneys and all they needed to in the heart due to baby's position but they ultimately determined they could see it all and all was fine.
Ultrasonographer wasn't sure what it was, she thought either ovary, bowel or maybe the cyst was actually the kidney?
Have been referred to fetal medicine but they can't see me for another 3 days. Sick with worry.
