Faint line on pregnancy tests then started bleeding

I got faint lines on my tests for 3 days straight after the first day i missed period but my period started after 4 days i missed period. Not really heavy but have some small clots. Have anyone experienced the same ? What does it mean?

Bleeding in early pregnancy is pretty common, but bleeding in wk4 + faint lines on test sounds like it could be a chemical pregnancy (a very early miscarriage), sorry OP.

For any bleeding in pregnancy you should ring your local Early Pregnancy Unit for advice.

I suspect they’ll say monitor it, if bleeding gets very heavy go to A&E; otherwise test again in 2 weeks and if still positive ring them as they may want to scan to check what’s going on. This is the advice I was given when I had a CP a few years ago.

Hi I'm currently going through the same thing I've told my gp who have put it down as a miscarriage and told me to re take a test in a weeks time.

Thank you for your advice. I actually have pcos and Im ttc past 2 years. This is the first time i see a positive result which was too faint. And at last got period like bleeding. Fingers crossed still hoping for the best.

And I planned to get consultation with my doctor tomorrow.
