Hi everyone. So I’m 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant through ICSI and the only symptom I had was sore breast and slight cramping every now and again. My breasts aren’t sore at all now and what I think is the weirdest is that they were quite large and beginning to darken with bumps and these seem to be going back to normal. I’m getting abit worried. Has anyone else’s nipples done this?

I'm 29 weeks and same as you, one of my first symptoms was sore boobs. TMI but my nipples are absolutely massive and so dark now! Obviously you can get checked at the GP if you're worried about breast changes - this is always important pregnant or not! Maybe ask your midwife for some advice. But my boobs have definitely practically doubled in size and nipples are massive and dark!

My worry is that my nipples seems to be lightening up again and seem to be getting smaller. I have a viability scan booked with my clinic on the 21st.

Oh I see, sorry OP. I will say my nipples have changed a lot throughout the pregnancy and haven't just suddenly gotten and stayed dark. Try not to focus on just how your nipples are - if you have no bleeding and cramps you should be ok. Keep us updated love. Good luck x

Thank you. I will do x

are you on progesterone? I stopped my progesterone around week 6, and my swollen and sore boobs and big nipples went back to normal as soon as I stopped taking progesterone. I'm 13 weeks now and my boobs don't look any different and I am definitely pregnant!

Yes still taking progesterone. I’ve starting feeling a bit sick today but honestly not sure if it’s nausea or because I’m worried.

@Babybaby2025 me again. Sorry to be a pest. Sorry that this is a personal question but what was your discharge like after you stopped the progesterone? Mine has totally dried up and it’s concerning because I’ve read everywhere it should increase!

I wouldn’t say I’ve consistently had discharge, but I do have the occasional day where I notice a lot of clear, watery discharge, especially between weeks 12 and 16. However, it’s not something I register on a daily basis. I probably do go days at a time where my discharge is minimal, I am just not taking much notice of it.
I honestly wouldn’t track it too much unless vaginal dryness (to the point of irritation) or excessive discharge becomes an issue. I’ve just followed the general rule that as long as whatever is coming out looks and smells normal, I don’t worry about it, I don't think I would register or notice a lack of discharge as an issue unless it was causing me problems.
