Hi all just a short thread but I've currently had a miscarriage and just don't know how to feel

The first time it happened to me I felt similar, I went on holiday 10 days later and I was kinda hazy, I don't really remember a lot about it.

The second time I was angry, really angry at every one and every thing for a good couple of months.

I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant so I hope this gives you some hope.

It’s so so difficult to know how to feel and process your emotions and feelings.
it’s shit.
I dealt with the physical side of it before really getting to grips and coming to terms with the emotional side of a miscarriage.

Time does help. I took a few weeks off work for the mc process and this helped.
speak to friends and family, don’t shy away from being honest with work.

I’ve had two miscarriages and I’m still unsure how I feel as in I don’t know how to feel. I don’t think I’ll ever really understand how I feel and I’ve come to the conclusion that’s ok.

im pregnant and praying this bubs works out.

what I would say is don’t feel getting pregnant straight away as I did this and had a second mc and it really set me back x

I remember feeling a bit stunned and numb when it first happened. Take time to process your feelings.

Wishing you all the best for your next pregnancy x

I'm so sorry OP. There are no rules. Don't let anyone tell you how to feel.

So sorry for your loss. We lost our first at almost 13 weeks and were devastated. I remember thinking why me? Nobody we knew had lost a baby. For me that baby had grown up, gone to school, won cricket matches and then the potential was just gone. No photos, no scan pictures, no tiny baby clothes, just nothing. My Mum was amazing and was the only one who asked how my husband was too, people tend to forget the Dad. My PIL never spoke of it or asked how we were. We went on to have four, now adult children who we adore. Take care of yourself and as much time as you need, talk with others if you need to, take some time off work to recover if you need to. You may find The Miscarriage Association helpful and you can apply for a baby loss certificate via GovUK if you would like to. Sending lots of good wishes for the future.

Is the certificate even without a scan
