hi! welcome to MN. Congratulations on having a baby. What book did you read about us in?

wrinklytum · 04/05/2008 00:06

Hello,Gemma,welcome to mumsnet

Dragonbutter · 04/05/2008 00:08

if you go to 'topic list' and then find 'antenatal clubs' you will be able to find a group of mumsnetters due at the same time as you, which is a nice way to get to know some people.

gets a bit quieter around here after midnight.

If you look here you could find some people due at the same time as you

I'm off to bed now. GemmaLou it might be worth considering changing your name to something that makes you more anonymous. You don't have to change it if you don't want to but sometimes you might want to post about personal issues and you never know who in real life is also a mumsnetter.
There are quite a few of us around

Hi xxgemmalou,

First of all congrats on the pregnancy.

So glad you have found this page I joined a year ago when I was expecting my 3rd and it has been brilliant. The mums on here are a great support and whatever you need from advice to just a good moan its all here. You are guaranteed a good giggle if you read some of the funny posts too.

I have 3 DS's and I am having NO MORE. But having them has been the best thing I have ever done.

Did the scans say you were having a girl?? All mine were right ( even though I was convinced ds3 was a girl). My only advice is GET LOTS OF REST NOW. You will need all the energy you can once your DD is here. I bet you cant wait.

Try not to worry about the birth. If your anything like I was you will have had all the horror stories rammed down your throat from the minute you found out you were expecting. Evryone is different and you will cope fine ok. Good luck x

Hello and welcome. Both my scans were right - first a DS and then a DD - mostly they are right I think! Good luck with your induction - hope all goes well for you.
