Pregnancy not located

I don't know if this is the right place to post, but I'm a bit beside myself at the moment and hoping someone can relate and maybe went on to have good news?

I was referred for a scan due to pains, I'm currently 5 +2 weeks, and I was told they can't locate a pregnancy. My hcg levels are 846 currently, and I have to go back in 48 hours for a repeat to see if they increase.

I've had 3 back to back MC in the last few years so naturally I'm petrified that's happening again. I'd love to know if anyone went on to have a healthy pregnancy after something similar? The next 48 hours feel like they're going to be hell waiting 😭

I didn’t think they can see much at 5 + 2. I have had many miscarriages but not had an early scan before 6.5 weeks as they said they might not see anything and that will cause worry.
The HCG level seems okay but I think it needs to be in the 1000s to see a pregnancy on a scan so once they have the 48 hour result they might have more of an idea of when to schedule a scan.
I don’t think there is anything to worry about just yet although it’s very hard to not worry.

I had hcg bloods and scans due to pain and that pregnancy went to be my son. I didn’t have pain for the miscarriages randomly!

She did mention that they may not see anything, I don't quite understand why they did it as its caused more panic than good. With my history, I can't help but be scared that it means the worse, applying logic or hope seems hard right now, and I know that probably makes me sound dramatic, but thank you for offering a reply 🖤

I'm so glad you went on to have your son!

Oddly I was the same, during the miscarriages, I didn't have pain like this, it was just bleeding more than anything

Fingers crossed, my bloods showed my hcg had risen by 98% which they were happy with, and we have a repeat scan Wednesday which I should be 6 +3 for, and hoping it gives the outcome we want 🥺

That’s a great rise. Sounds very positive!
