I'm wondering if there's anyone who does acrylics / has them done who know if I am able to have them while I'm on blood thinners? I only ask as I bleed quite easily and a lot at times ..... im wanting them done when I go on maternity leave as I'm a healthcare assistant and I don't want them with a newborn so the only time il have is before birth. I really want something pretty and that to express me . But worried

I’m currently on Inhixa and continue to have my nails done but I have BIAB. I just let my nail lady know that I’m on blood thinners and more prone to bleeding if she accidentally nips me. She has invested in a special solution that she can apply to any small cuts and it stops the bleeding. 😊

I’m on deltaparin and been having biab for years. I was on riveroxiban before with no issues.
Just ask your nail tech to be careful with the file.
