Falling pregnant on sertraline

Not sure where to post this.

Did anyone have difficulty conceiving whilst taking anti depressants? Notably due to the medication?

Never had an issue while taking citalopram

Never had an issue. Been on sertraline for 5+ years, took 3 months to conceive our daughter who is 2 in March. Currently 13 weeks pregnant with our second baby, took 2 months to conceive x

I am currently on paroxetine and have been trying for 10 months but i cant say for sure it is the medication affecting this

It did seem to reduce my husband's sperm count, and I've heard/ read this anecdotally from others too, but there is no research that backs that up.

We've had fertility treatments over many years due to male factor, so my DH has had a lot of sperm tests. After he came off sertraline, his sperm count went up considerably. Again, you can't say for sure that there is causality there, but there weren't any other significant lifestyle changes during that time.

However, I am also on sertraline and it hasn't caused me any problems that I know of and I'm now pregnant. It is one of the safer antidepressants to take during pregnancy.
