HCG 3400 not doubling

I'm probably about 6 weeks pregnant and over the past few days I've had hcg readings 2264, 2700, 3400, yet they're still saying possible ectopic not viable. Early scan showed nothing. I've been reading medical papers where hcg over 1200 doesn't double over 48 hours, more like a week, but I'm possible fooling myself. Anyone else had any positive stories with slow rising hcg?

Hey! How did you get on with this. I’m in the same boat. Small start of a gestational sac on scan and then a 38% hcg rise in 48 hours. From 2104 to 2903.
have they carried on checking your HCG?

Unfortunately I had an ectopic, but in my case there was no gestational sack seen, so there's more hope for you. Once you reach thousands, it does slow and I think 60% over 72-96 hours is OK from a lot of research I've done. NHS never says this though, they're bent on doubles every 4i hours and trust me it's not always the case. Hope things are OK X
