Possible ectopic?

Hello hoping for past experiences

I’ve recently been through my 5th round of IVF and an embryo transfer. I am currently 16dp5dt or 21dpo. I have had two betas

13dp5dt (18dpo) 157
15dp5dt (20dpo) 567

I have this pain in my left side that has come and gone over the TWW. But today it’s gotten stronger. Clinic have said it’s too early for it to be pain associated with ectopic at just five weeks ( I'm 16dp5dt today so guaranteed 21dpo)

They’ve told me to take some paracetamol. I have and I'm not sure it's really helping. If I was to describe what it feels like i'd say it’s like a stitch on my left side. It’s not low down in my uterus it’s in my side. Kid of near my ovary and into my hip.

I go back on Monday for a third beta.

I’m hoping for guidance on thoughts on if this sounds like it is normal early pregnancy pain and I'm just being too anxious (I’ve never made it this far), or if it could be ectopic. And if so, what I need to look out for.

I finally thought maybe my time had come after 5 years of infertility but now I’m scared.

Well….its not too early as my ectopic ruptured at 5 weeks.

do you have an early pregnancy unit you can contact? I can’t remember the beta levels but a scan would either prove or disprove an ectopic. I think they’re not really erring enough on the side of caution (my ectopic was missed by a gp)

Thank you for your reply. My beta was only 567 yesterday and i have had a look and I think HCG needs to be 1500 at lest to show on scan.

I think I'll see how I go tonight as it's late now anyway and see how I feel in the morning and call EPU if I still have pain because I think it will be too soon for them to see anything,

I'm with an IVF clinic and ectopics are more common in IVF so you'd think they'd be more careful / cautious in their advice.
