6 weeks embryo just 3 mm

I had an ultrasound today. I am 6w5d according to my last period.
We saw the sac and a 3.1 mm embryo. Doctor said It seemed to be some blink that could be a Heartbeat, but wasn't sure.

Although my doctor said It was normal, I read that for 6w5d embryo should measures about 5 mm, not 3.

Someone has had a symilar experience?

(My cycles are about 30 days, not 28, I don't know if that has any impact when It comes to weeks&days)

I would listen to the doctor rather than googling. She would not lie and say it was normal if it wasn’t.

Mine was 2.7mm at 6 weeks and I’m feeding him right now!

It is SO hard to measure accurately at that stage!

And - unless you track ovulation then you might be at or less than 6w0d, you just don’t know.

I don't track anything... I just know when I had sex close to ovulation. It could be less than 6w5d as my last period says. I also had an early pregnancy test 3 days before my expected period and was negative (It is supposed to be useful from 5 days before)

I hope It works out for me too! I remember that my first son used to measure less than expected, but I didn't have an US so early so I was able to hear HB since my first appointment.
