Potential Blighted Ovum.. new symptoms?

Went for a scan, by LMP 7 weeks, sonographer said more likely 5w so currently empty sack/no fetal pole -Which is normal for under 6weeks. Scan booked for 2 weeks, as routine.
I've had very, very minimal symptoms, however tested positive days before P was due, so I'm a little cynical that dates are that far out but aware it can happen.

I'm just wondering for anyone that's had a MM or BO if they had new symptoms after scan/suspected BO/MM etc?
I know hcg can continue to rise, so symptoms are sometimes still present, but they usually (from what I read) stay same level or decrease in 'strength'. Do they ever increase or new ones start?
Last 4/5 days I'm exhausted to the point of needing a nap in the day to just get through, and having nausea at night, bloated (though possible that it's just sad eating through the Xmas period)..

I guess I'm trying to desperately hold hope that they were infact correct, and just dates very wrong somehow but its hard to not be pessimistic following loss.

Thank you

Awe it’s so awful and I’ve got my fingers crossed for you. I had one with IVF so my dates were accurate. I had a scan at 6.5 weeks so they knew it was a blighted ovum. Towards the 7 week mark I started to be sick. But what I would say is different with you is that I tested a couple of days early and got a negative. My positive test only came on the testing date and was faint. So I don’t think my HCG was very high.

I’ve had a blighted ovum discovered at 7 weeks and a MMC discovered at 8 weeks that stopped growing at 5.6.
Both times the nausea started at 6-7 weeks. The first time it started after the first scan at 7 weeks and while I was waiting for the second scan to confirm. It also carried on after the surgical management. The second time the nausea started at 6 weeks and continued until natural miscarriage of the BO at 8.5 weeks. In both cases I was having HCG monitored and it was doubling beautifully. But just wasn’t to be.

Like PP my HCG was doubling and I had symptoms despite no progress within the sac. Hoping it’s a mistake on the scan but brace yourself. Good luck OP.

I had a blighted ovum years ago - picked up early. They kept scanning me but at 11 weeks I had to have a d and c as there was nothing in the sac. The sac was continuing to grow and I had normal pregnancy symptoms but no foetus unfortunately. I hope your pregnancy has a different outcome x
