anterior cord insertion

I just had a look through my notes from my 20 week scan. It said anterior scan insertion. Does anyone know if this mean that the placenta is anterior as well? Not that it really matters but I'm awfully curious and hate not knowing what something means. I've been feeling lots of kicks but always low down, so if the placenta is up top and front that would explain things.

Thanks

I've never heard of that at all? From a professional perspective it makes not sense at all?!

Thanks, will just have to ask the midwife then what the cryptic notes might mean =)
