Pains in early pregnancy

Hi everyone,

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and I’m very anxious (I’m an extremely anxious person anyway) I’ve been having a lot of left sided pain more like muscle pain but a lot in my left hip it’s sore when I pinch it.. I get this feeling before my period so I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And why would it happen when I get it before my period? My cramps and sore boobs have also died off which is making me worry too.

I have have the same pain, I am 8+5 now and baby is doing well from what the scan shows. I think it’s just your body stretching but call your midwife/gp if your worried ❤️

I had similar pains to what you are describing. My GP sent me for a scan to check for an ectopic pregnancy at around 6 weeks. All was fine! I am sure everything is OK but best to check with your GP to be sure.

Do you know if you would bleed/ still test positive with an ectopic pregnancy?

If they’re like period cramps then it can be normal in early pregnancy but definitely phone your midwife if you have any concerns.
