Gender at 14 weeks

I had a scan at 14w due to some issues. The consultant that scanned me kept calling the baby ‘he’. Is it possible she knew baby is a boy or more likely that she just said he?

I’ve a gender scan booked in a few weeks but I’m just wondering if it can be seen already. Obviously she wasn’t actively looking for baby’s gender and was just ensuring they were okay but now I’m just wondering if it is a boy 😅

It doesn't mean anything- I think they always call baby he as it distinguishes from the mother. I would wait for your gender scan.

You can see baby's sex at 14 weeks, that's when I had my scans privately for both babies however I did find medical professionals said "he" or "she" just as filler and not because they knew the sex.

We were told the sex of our baby at the 12 week scan which was correct
