I’m 26 weeks with baby 2. Boxing Day I had really dark brown discharge, just once after a bowel movement. Called triage and they said not to worry as brown means old blood. Happened again a few days later after a long walk, and again yesterday after bowel movement, again this morning just when going for a wee. It’s only when wiping on the tissue, and always such a small amount (first time around a 50p piece size, other times a 5p). I called triage again after the 2nd time and they said the same again, not to worry but if it carries on or gets worse to call back. So it’s happened twice more now and it’s starting to worry me. With both my pregnancies I’ve had to have cervical length scans and with my first I had preterm premature rupture of membranes, so my history is making me anxious about where this bleeding has come from. I had various complications in my first pregnancy and I’m desperate for this one to go smoothly, but I’m worried this should be checked although the midwives are saying not to worry about it. Has anyone had this?!
