Clear blue test-worrying

I got a faint bfp at 9dpo on 16/12, got 1-2 on cb digital on 18/12, then 2-3 on 25/12, however tested again today and its not gone past 2-3, I should be 5+4 today. I also know from LH testing I ovulated on 07/12. I’ve previously had recurrent miscarriage so I e got a scan booked at epu on 04/01/24 at exactly 6 weeks. Based on the clear blue I’m not expecting to see much. Does anyone have any experience of this happening, with either positive or negative outcomes?
Only symptoms I am experiencing is tiredness and sore boobs which is less than what I have experienced before. I haven’t had my hcg blood levels done, I’m not sure if this will be done anyway at epu or if it’s worth asking? It might depend on what they see on the scan I guess.

It’s 93% accurate and says some may get misleading results so try not to panic, easier said than done I know.
Congratulations, I hope all looks well when you have your scan.

I had similar, got 2-3 easily just before 4 weeks but tested at 5 and a bit weeks and it was still 2-3 weeks on it. I read online that some people often don't get the 3+ or it takes ages. I did think about buying more and trying again closer to 6 weeks but on discussion with my partner I concluded that the anxiety of it not going up to 3+ would probably have been more than the reassurance gained... if that makes sense. Anyway I managed to resist. Had my early IVF pregnancy scan on Monday at 7+1 and saw a heartbeat and was measuring 7+3 😊 best of luck!

Thanks for the responses, I also didn’t use fmu I used 2nd morning urine, still pretty concentrated but probably not as much, I’m debating testing again tomorrow with fmu as I’ve got another test but not sure whether to just leave it until scan as there’s nothing I can do?

@Notsure31 I never got a 3+. Sent my head into a spiral thought the worst etc. Would never advise them to anyone they cause unnecessary stress. I'm currently 37 weeks so all was fine xx

Agree with other posters, my digital tests took ages to progress then went back from 2 - 3 weeks to 1 - 2 weeks before going back to 2 - 3 weeks. Gave up testing before I got to 3 + weeks and I'm now 22 weeks pregnant. I understand the anxiety though, I trawled through so many posts at the time looking for similar experiences and I was also experiencing bleeding and cramping, but everything has worked out well. Just wanted to add some reassurance as I remember how anxious I felt at the time with these tests.

Just an update on this, went for a scan today and baby measured 5+5 so 2 days behind, but saw heartbeat ☺️ so it remains a mystery about the 2-3 thing, still a bit worried if my hcg levels are low but they told me at epau it doesn’t mean much now we’ve seen heartbeat on the scan. Surprised heartbeat was seen at 5+5 as very early, I wonder if it will catch up.

Lovely news, congratulations 🥰

i wouldn't worry about the clearblue tests, I didn't get a positive test until I was 7 weeks with my twins, however I was getting positive ovulation tests prior thinking I was ovulating, turns out those tests was picking up my pregnancy hormone 🙈

Congratulations. They are so tiny at that stage that it's so hard to measure accurately, in both my earlier scans my Dad's measured 4-5 days behind, then by the 12 week scan DD1 measured 1 week ahead, and DD2 3 days ahead
