Nub theory guesses?

Bit confused as in one of the pictures nub is up and others straight but very thin and not connected to body.

Any guesses would be helpful as im going back and forth lol

forgot to say i got told the baby was a slow grower measuring at 12+5 when im definitely 13+1 so wondering if nub still has time to rise if that dead straight line was the nub
