Flying/travelling when pregnant

Hi all 😊

I’ve just found out that I’m pregnant (5 weeks 4 days) I have a holiday to Norway booked for Sunday and I’m feeling anxious about travelling, I’ve started to feel nauseous and feeling very nervous about going. Has anyone flown whilst being in the early weeks? How did you find it and are there any tips you think would help? Thank you in advance 😊

flew at 8 weeks and 29, apart from morning sickness absolutely no difference at 8 weeks and it was a busy city so didn’t stop!

Oh also flew at 5 weeks 3 days the day after I found out! Only tested as a just in case as it was a best friend trip and my bikini top wouldn’t fasten! 🤣🤣

I flew at 8 weeks, 11 weeks and also 23 weeks. I was prescribed anti sickness tablets at 6 weeks so was taking them religiously, plus the smell of my own house was making me heave so staying away actually made me feel a bit better 🤣
Luckily where you're going it won't be hot so you won't need to worry about staying out the sun, but if you're doing lots of walking remember to stay hydrated and rest when you need to because I always find the first trimester so tiring.
