Hi all,

im currently 8 weeks pregnant and my symptoms such as, sickness, sore, large breasts, backache, tiredness and generally feeling quite slow and unable to do much have all disappeared rather abruptly.

I went to my GP today who checked my BP which is normal and then had a feel of my tummy asked me to wait outside while he contacted the early pregnancy unit at my local hospital. I’ve got an appointment on the 1st of Jan for a scan.

im just wondering if anyone experienced anything similar and what the outcome was.

With my first pregnancy my symptoms completely disappeared one day and a week or so later I started MC. With my second pregnancy I again felt like all my early symptoms disappeared and had an early scan at 8 weeks and all was fine. So it can really go either way. Stay hopeful! 🤞🏼

This is totally normal for symptoms to come and go. I'd have weeks of feeling like hell then times when I didn't feel pregnant at all throughout the first trimester in both pregnancies.

Really odd that she is sending you to be checked that all sounds completely normal though I know the peace of mind you will get from the app will be huge . I wouldn't worry honestly x
