Fell on back, toddler fell on bump!

Hello, I was at the park today with my toddler (im 35 weeks) and it was so slippy when I was carrying him I’ve slipped and fell on my back and caught toddler but he’s landed on my bump! Baby seems to be moving ok I’ve just got an awful pain down my right side and no bleeding. Do you think I need to get checked? I called triage and they said as long as movements ok and no bleeding everything should be fine.

You did the right thing calling triage. Baby is well cushioned in there and it's good movements remain unchanged. If anything does change or you just don't feel right about it, call back and tell them you'd like to be checked out

I'd assume it's just a bit of bruising. Baby is well protected. Would you assume internal organ damage if you weren't pregnant? I'm 35wks with no 3 and have been used as a climbing frame by the other two quite a lot and fell of a zip line this morning. Good movements, no bleeding, not extreme pain feel happy everything was OK.
