I had a private early reassurance scan this morning (7 weeks 1 day) and the woman scanning found a heartbeat and said the baby looked good but also that she could see a shadow on the scan. It wasn’t on the baby but I can’t remember where she said it was. By the sac maybe? She said it could be an additional sac that had been absorbed or it could be a hematoma. She said it probably wasn’t anything to worry but she couldn’t say for sure what it was and tbh she wasn’t very clear or reassuring and I was left a bit uncertain what to think. Anyone else had this?
