Are my waters leaking?

Currently 40w and for the past few days I've been having clear liquid trickle out especially after lying down and waking up. I got seen in triage yesterday, was made to lie down for half and hour and midwife checked with speculum. She said cervix is closed and that's it's not my waters.
Went to bed and had more clear watery discharge when I got up to use the loo in the night and when I woke up in the morning. Is it possible my waters are leaking slowly, do I call triage back and insist on them doing a dip test or something?

I would definitely call triage and get seen again, they can do a test to check if it's your waters, also wear a pad to catch any leaks and take that with you

Hospital refused to believe me but I managed to bottle some to show them.

Did they test the bottle?

The thing is I'm not getting enough to catch in a bottle. It's mostly in the mornings when I've been lying down for a good few hours and get up that I can feel the dampness in my underwear and get clear watery discharge on the tissue when wiping. I'm really unsure whether it is just discharge which is watery or my actual waters

Update: it was my waters leaking, went into triage again and they did the dip test this time which came back as positive. Looking at being induced.

I had this leaking for 2 days before both my dc were born. I was checked and no waters broken. I went into labour naturally on the 3rd day each time.
