Less/ change of movements at 28 weeks!

Looking for some advice/ reassurance please!

At 28weeks, my baby must have moved position - I am not feeling her where I have been, the movements are not strong and they not as regular.
From what I had been feeling after eating, drinking and lots of nudging, my baby is very low.
I rang the midwives last night for advice as I did eventually feel movements, but not to the degree that I had been feeling them at all. I was monitored and all was OK, but the movements were again, very subtle.

This morning, I am still not convinced I am feeling her as I usually would have done throughout the night.
Could this be a change in position? Reduced movements?

Thank you!

Go OP, you did the right thing going in and getting monitored. I'm pleased all was OK.

It does sound like a change in position. I'm 27 weeks and my baby is also very low down at the moment so movements the last 2 days have been much lower down and more subtle than they were before.

That’s reassuring to hear.
It feels rather unsettling when you go from very strong movements, to questioning whether that movement was baby :/

I was getting really strong movements but I think baby was head down. At 27ish weeks I felt movements were low and not as noticeable but after a growth scan it appears they are breech which explains the low kicks. I'm now 29 weeks and it's still the same so hoping they turn!

Were you offered a growth scan as a result of the change in movements or did you choose to go private to find out?
Thank you for your comment.

No no it's due to having GD so completely separate. I didn't even mention it I've realised that that's what it is as baby was completely fine on the scan.

Have just been checked out again, they did a scan this evening and turns out baby is now breach. This would likely explain the vast change in movements and frequency of them.
