Hi all. I had a cesarean scar ectopic needing surgery in Jan 2024. Since then my periods have been all over the place and I've genuinely no idea when my last one was as I've been having a day or two here and there of spotting but no real period since the loss in Jan. I've been sorta ttc since but not tracking ovulation etc as I did try for the first 6 months or so but was constantly disappointed. I have however been poas every now and again as I bought 50 of them on amazon whilst actively trying so they're just..there..waiting to be peed on.

Anyway, I got a very very faint line on the 23rd which has progressed to a darker line tonight. This makes me think ovulation probably wasn't very long ago? The first line on the 23rd was squint or you'll miss it kinda faint.

Any ideas how I would even attempt to work out a rough gestation/due date? Thanks

If it was faint and then progressed to dark I would say 4-5 wks. Congratulations hope all goes well for you this time and you go on to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby 🙏 you should let your doc know and book a dating scan that will confirm your dates.

Only way to know for sure is a scan and given your history I'm sure EPAU will be more than happy to see you ASAP! So sorry for what you went through by the way, that must have been really terrifying. But yes if the test was really faint to begin with you could hazard a guess that you ovulated 2 weeks prior to that.

You can wait for your first scan; they will tell you a date (but it can be 5 days off) or you can try the clearblue weeks test, but I don't find clearblue very reliable personally. My tests were light, and got darker when I was between 4-5 weeks. At 5 weeks 3 days, they were dark strong lines
