Cyclizine - a little nervous to take

I have been prescribed 50mg Cyclizine for severe morning sickness. I have health anxiety at the best of times but it is worse if I take medication (it's very psychological, I will start to have a panic attack which I will then think is a side effect and get myself in such a state!) I have just read the side effects of Cyclizine and it's literally all of the same symptoms as a panic attack 🤦‍♀️ so if I react to it I will never know if it truly is a side effect or if I am having a panic attack.

I wanted to know who else has taken this medication and how it made them feel and if it reacted badly with them or if it worked wonders with no side effects at all!

I've taken cyclizine in both my pregnancies. No side effects apart from I felt a bit more tired when I first started taking them. Much better than the sickness and nausea though. Hope you're feeling better soon x

Sleepiness is the most common side effect and having worked in a hyperemesis clinic I haven't come across many who have experienced anything else. It's hard but I suppose you won't know until you try. I hope it works well for you with no side effects🤞🏼
