Crinone build up / yellow discharge

Hi everyone, new account but long time lurker 😊 I am currently 13 weeks pregnant after a round of IVF. I was on crinone progesterone for nearly 3 months and stopped Sunday 15th December. When I stopped, I had a brown discharge that has turned to a yellow mucus (tmi sorry!). I was checked out at the hospital and no sign of infection but they said there's a large amount of residue stuck that should work itself out. It's been a week; has anyone experienced similar or had to have it removed? Thanks in advance! 🥰

Congratulations 🥳 I’m 8 weeks through ivf too. I didn’t take the gels for as long as you but I’ve had a ton of weird brown gunky discharge too as the gel works its way out. It surprised me how long it took to get out of me! I stopped at week 4 and I think it’s only in the last week I’ve stopped finding it. I’ve been trying to keep up with running and noticed more came out after I’d been active.

Wishing you a super boring pregnancy xx

I was on it too and was still having little clumps of it coming out 2 weeks after stopping. Had all sorts of colours of it coming out when I was on it from white to orange. It’s quite grim stuff really was glad to stop it.

Ahh congratulations to you, too!! Delighted for you 🥰🥰 thank you, that makes me feel better - it is definitely horrible and scary seeing but will hopefully all be worth it. Wishing you a very boring rest of pregnancy too! Xxx
