Light brown discharge

I’m 6 weeks pregnant after previously having a miscarriage back in October, all been fine and today I have had some really light brown discharge. First time this morning made a mark about the size of a 10p on my underwear, had a liner on since and nothing on there, just a small amount when I wipe.

Trying not to freak out as know it can be normal but also read it could not be normal. Have a scan at the EPU next week but does anyone have any insight / words of wisdom they can share?

I had this between 6-7 weeks. Had a scan at 7 weeks and everything was perfect - they put it down to implantation bleeding at this time. Brown isn’t fresh xx

As in the embryo just implanted? I thought implantation happened around the time of implantation?

I had this for two weeks. So very stressful. All was well and no explanation ever found xx

Thank you everyone who has replied - helped me feel a little less anxious! Still got a small amount today, leaves a light streak on toilet paper (sorry if TMI) but not changed or increased so hoping it’s ok. Roll on next Friday for the scan and hopefully get some reassurance

Hey @LimeStork they thought it was likely implantation bleeding / discharge when I went for the early scan a few days after posting. Have since been for my 12 week scan and all healthy, baby very active! Hope all okay for you, it can be worrying! X

Ah that’s such wonderful news, I’m so happy it’s going smoothly for you! Did they prescribe any progesterone since you previously had a MC? I am wondering whether to push for it myself. Got a scan coming up on Thursday so fingers are crossed, super worrying! xx
