I had what I thought was my period 13/12 it was very light and only last 4 days, then a few days later started spotting lightly. I thought strange so I did a test, got a faint positive and 1-2weeks on clear blue.
but been bleeding over a week, must be miscarrying, but not been heavy whatsoever.

tried getting an appointment at doctors, no luck as of yet.

@MyHonestUser sorry you're going through this, it's so stressful. It may be a miscarriage it may not. If you are in there UK it's unlikely your GP will do anything, you're better off finding the contact information for your nearest Early Pregnancy Unit and speaking to them - they would be where you can get a scan (usually only from 6 weeks though) and they can give you advice.

Sorry to hear this OP, are you having any cramping? Does the bleeding fill a pad? Any clots?

I had a MC at 6 weeks in June and I'd say it was unmistakable - it got gradually heavier over the course of a week, it was combined with cramping which got worse than a period. The beginning was spotty, brown and watery but within 3-4 days it was red.

I spoke to my GP first - if you Google your EPU at your local hospital it should say if you can self refer, in my area it has to be via GP and was scanned but by then it was already in progress but they did scan again in a couple of days to check it was complete and did bloods.

Alternatively it could be early spotting if it doesn't get like the above. When I was 5 weeks they checked my cervix but didn't even - as PP says most don't scan until 6 weeks.

I'm sorry OP, the limbo is the worst, thinking of you xx
