I got a positive on Thursday and Friday last week on clearblue digital (1-2 weeks). This morning I woke up to a small amount of pjnk/brown blood. As the day has gone on its become bright red
EpU said keep an eye and if pain increases or if it becomes heavier call them, otherwise retest in 1 week
Has this happened to anyone and it's been OK?
I have one child who is now 7 and there were never any issues or anything like this but am.now 40 so thinking the worst!

Didn’t want to read and run. I had this exactly at the same time you did and it ended up as a miscarriage at six weeks. Unfortunately, the EPU are right that’s there’s nothing to do except test again in a week. They can’t save the pregnancy at this stage if it is a miscarriage.

If the blood loss gets heavy enough to soak through a pad per hour then you need to go to A&E. I’m very sorry you’re going through this, especially at this time of the year. Hopefully it’s not a miscarriage but I’d protect your heart by preparing for this outcome xx
