Discharge concern (picture warning)

Hi everyone, I’m 23 weeks pregnant and recently had a swab come back showing thrush. I took a pessary as advised midwife and everything settled for a few days.

I now have a constant weird sensation, not quite burning but uncomfortable and a bit sore, and thin yellow discharge.

I’m wondering whether this could be thrush again or if it’s looking more like an infection. Waiting to hear back from my midwife and we’re away from home (still in the UK) so thought I’d ask on here too.

Sorry for the TMI picture….

Thanks so much x

Didn't want to run. 30 weeks and had some spotting, cervix is shut and speculum showed 'white discharge' was given a pessary incase of an infection. The spotting lasted around an hour and stopped. Put the pessary in and a few hours after I was really sore and had a really pale pink colour wee. Called them and they said it's normal after a pessary. My swab came back as no infection though! So strange. You can call triage and just let them know and see what they say you don't need to wait for your midwife. I've had yellow discharge on and off in this pregnancy and was told as long as there's no foul smell it's fine..

Thanks so much @anonny55 - I just spoke with the triage team and they suggested it’s probably still thrush and to try treating that with another pessary in the first instance! Hope all good with you now!

Bacterial vaginosis can cause discharge that colour and you can have bacterial vaginosis and thrush at the same time

I find the soft gel pessary clears up better than the standard one if you haven’t already used that.

All fine here thanks! No more spotting or anything for about 5 days now and baby's moving as normal so either that was just a random show or the one pessary I used sorted it out..they scanned me and no bleeding around baby or anything thank god. Very strange! I'm glad you got some reassurance..if it continues after a few days id give a call back as I understand, leaving it if it's not clearing up will do more harm than good x
