I’m 38 weeks currently, having a c section on 27th (I hope!)

anyone else due over this period? How are you finding it/managing it all?

Was 16 years ago but my daughter was born on Christmas Eve.
It was hectic to say the least!

@Chrbb oh wow! Were you conscious that you really didn’t want it to be Christmas Day? Or did that all go out the window once you went into labour!

Me! 37 weeks but barrelling towards a c-section because my baby is stubbornly breech and resisting all attempts to get them to turn. I have gestational diabetes so it’s a bit sad not being able to enjoy any Christmas food but mainly I’m just excited to be finished with pregnancy.

Her due date was Christmas day :)

I really didn't want to have her that day for obvious reasons but by 40 weeks pregnant I just wanted her out regardless 🤣

She was born at home at 6am Christmas eve.
I missed out on watching my older boys open their presents the next day as I was exhausted and fell asleep 🤣

@Chrbb aww that’s so lovely, and even though you missed opening presents with your older kids I’m happy for you that you slept 😂😂😂

@HocusFord congrats, is it your first? Sorry about the Christmas food! Maybe you can have all your fave bits once baby is out? What date is it looking like your c section will be?

Im a bit sad to not be able to have a drink on Christmas Day, I love Christmas, this is my second baby and I have missed alcohol this time 😅 got my eye on cheese, wine and a cheeky baileys once baby is out if I’m feeling up to it!

Currently 39 weeks + 4.....due date is 23rd. No 'signs' of baby yet, could be Xmas day, who knows now it's a waiting game. It's been a struggle but got organised early (luckily we don't 'host' Xmas!). Hard to get in the proper festive spirit as usually I'd be at the Xmas markets etc but can't manage them. Just about got to older child's nativity!

It’s my second! I’ve got a big shop of all the best bits of Christmas food on order for the new year 😂

I’m having an ECV just after Christmas but if that doesn’t work c-section will likely be just after new year. Hoping to avoid if possible but making peace with it being likely.

Hope all goes well for you ❤️ it’s a magical time to bring home a new baby

14 years ago I was due my first baby on the 20th. Waddled my way through the festive period, finally went into labour on New Year's Eve, DD arrived on New Year's Day! Good luck to all expecting in the next week or two, perfect excuse to put your feet up and be waited on!
