Need a bit more information. When did you likely conceive? How many DPO are you?

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 13:39

@CTak my last period was 8th November, my period was due on 6th December according to flo app (cycles range anywhere between 26-29days, latest one was 29 though) i got my 1-2 weeks on 2nd December, then 2-3 on the 9th December.. we only had sex twice out of the whole month which was on the 22nd & 24th november. im not sure when i ovulate if im honest 🤦🏻‍♀️

Does it definitely show anything further along than that? I seem to think when I was last using them (14 years ago) the most it told you was 2-3 weeks, no matter how far along you were.

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 13:53

@Tillow4ever thats interesting to hear but yes they go to a 'pregnant 3+' result supposed to be 6weeks tomorrow (going by last period) so panicking at the minute if im honest as with my daughter it only took 8 days to change from 2-3 - 3+.. x

That's taking you to the search results but it's the first Mumsnet one!

Basically theirs did the sand and baby is now 2 years old.

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 14:03

@Tillow4ever thanks i did comment on that thread yesterday but thought i would make my own as mentally i cant rest, its like torture especially after having 3 recurrent misscarriages. my head is just in overdrive 🤦🏻‍♀️

I can imagine how scared you are. I only had one miscarriage and I was terrified the whole of my next pregnancy.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy - good luck for your scan.

mlc0 · 19/12/2024 14:20

Mine never moved up from 2-3. Im now 30 weeks pregnant. I've had 4 miscarriages so I know how scary it is. It's silly for me to say but try and relax, nothing you will do will change anything. ❤️ looking back testing made me so much worse and I'd bite anyone's head off if they told me to stop testing cos I'd convinced myself it made me feel better 🤣

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 14:23

@mlc0 ohhh thats lovely to hear 😊 your comment has made me smile! n'aww are you having a girl or a boy do you know? & exactly how i feel when im being told to stop testing - easier said than done isnt it 😂

I'm having a little boy :) he's kicking away as I type! When is your scan and how far along will you be? X

Kibble29 · 19/12/2024 14:33

I seem to remember mine never moving from 2-3 weeks either. I also worried about this at the time.

He’s now 3. 😄

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 15:29

@mlc0 @Kibble29 and when you both had scans did you ever measure behind for dates?

OP posts:
HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 15:30

@mlc0 my scan is on monday and i should be 6+3 😊

@mlc0 @Kibble29 and when you both had scans did you ever measure behind for dates?

No, never. I had a few private scans via Window to the Womb along with my normal NHS scans and he was always measuring the correct date or just ahead.

In the end, we got to 39+1 and they induced me because they were worried about leaving him cooking another week as he’d be huge. 😑

Turned out he was 8lbs 3 and the rest was all just fluid. As evidenced when they broke my waters. I must’ve lost about 2 stone in 30
seconds. 😆

Is your scan on Monday private?

mlc0 · 19/12/2024 16:25

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 15:29

@mlc0 @Kibble29 and when you both had scans did you ever measure behind for dates?

So I've had loads of scans as I was under a consultant with the nhs. My first scan was 6+3, then 9+3 and he measured perfect then. Then I had my nhs 12 week scan and he measured 3 days behind which freaked me out! Then I had a private scan at 13 weeks and he was measuring on time again. Then I went back to my consultant at 15 weeks and 18 weeks and he measured perfect again, then I had nhs scan at 20 weeks and 22 weeks and he was measuring what they put him at back at 12 weeks again as they don't change it after that. Also had private scans at 28 and 30 weeks and he was measuring perfect. It depended on the way he was lying🤣

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 16:34

@Kibble29 ohh did you have polyhydramimos then? as i had loads of extra fluid in my 4th pregnancy with my son & when they broke my waters it was like a constant stream of water 🤣 my scan on monday is at recurrent misscarriage clinic in Leeds x

HereWeGoAgainBaby6 · 19/12/2024 16:36

@mlc0 n'awww well atleast all was ok with your son apart from sounding abit awkward when it come to the scans 🤣 typical of them isnt it haha i remember with one of our son's 12 week scan he was literally like standing upside down! made us all laugh like but i had never seen a baby in that position before, i didnt even think they could do that 😂 was like he was doing a handstand in my womb! hahaha x

thanks ladies but i have lost all hope to be fair. feel like im clutching at straws googling different scenorios of what it could be.. if any of you would want any further input/ or insight, i created another thread over in the 'misscarriage/loss' section of mn. but i will warn it does contain a graphic photo.. so apologies if its not something you would like to see but im just so unsure 🫤😔😭💔 i cant sleep for thinking & analysing the past week :-(
