Help! Baby breach at 30 weeks today. Any advice?

Please could anyone offer me any advice about a breach baby? My consultant told me I would need a C section of he does not turn. Has any mum here had success in using any method to turn their breach baby for a vaginal birth? I am terrified!

I really wouldn’t worry at 30 weeks. Babies aren’t usually head down just yet anyway.

All of mine have flipped and turned back and forth until about 36/37 weeks or so.

30 weeks is too early to worry about it. If your baby is still breech at 36 weeks they will discuss again. Try not to dwell on it.

I was told the same with DC1 but they turned round while I was in a pregnancy yoga class. I can't remember how far along I was but it was certainly more than 30 weeks. So maybe yoga helps???!!!!

It's normal to be breech at 30 weeks!😊 Little one is probably chopping and changing position all the time. Consultant sounds like they've really jumped the gun talking about c section😂 If you're concerned, take a look at Spinning Babies. But I'd put it out of your head and not worry at all x
