Stretch and sweep stories

Hi all at my next appointment ill be offered a stretch and sweep just wanting to hear peoples stories, good or bad. Ftm so don’t know what to expect, does it work? Is it painful? How long after did labour start?

Hello
I had one when I was 9 days overdue. It was a bit uncomfortable but didn't hurt as such. I started contracting around 4 hours later and he was here within the 24 hours. Definitely got things moving!!!

Oh wow mine is the day before my due date hopefully gets things going
