Implementation bleeding? How long?

I had some brownish spotting which I thought was the begining of my periods, the next day I tested a very faint positive. The spotting has now lasted 3-4 days, back pain gone. Any experiences? I am due to travel to see family on Fri and really don't know what's going on. I don't think I should if this is a sign of miscarriage (I really hope that's not what it is). Any experiences? I have a Dr appointment today, but I don't think I will be seen by an early pregnancy unit soon enough?

Should I just cancel my holiday plans and stay put while I wait it out?

I had implantation bleeding with my first and with this pregnancy (currently 6 weeks). In both cases it lasted about 3/4 days.
This time it started on the Friday night and I assumed it was my period starting 3 days early but it never came to anything just stayed very low level and brownish blood.
I waited until the following Thursday to test to get a conclusive result and was pregnant.
Could you test again tomorrow morning?

Yes, that's the plan. I also really pushed my self physically on Sat, as painted a room, cleaned teh house top to bottom etc. no wonder I am bleeding. I am really worried about traveling now since it's a connecting flight, following by a 4-5 HR drive. I really doubt this will help the situation...
I am going to see the Dr in an hour see if I can be seen by the EPU before Fri. I doubt they will be able to see anything on a scan though as I am just 4 weeks today (if that!)

Did you have a scan or still waiting for one?

I wouldn't put it down to what you've been doing physically at all- so please don't be feeling guilty. It's a natural part of the process and I just think of it as the fertlised egg making itself at home! I haven't sought a scan, just did a further test, registered with the midwife and will assume all is ok until 12weeks unless I see signs otherwise.

Can completely understand your anxiety about travelling and hope the doctor can help.

So the Dr doesn't think I am pregnant. She repeated the pregnancy test and it was negative :(. She did a swab though to rule out infections but I have the all clear to travel at least!
Thanks Juney for the reply! Seems it was just my wishful thinking this is a pregnancy. I might repeat the test again in few days just in case

Mine lasted 3 days, light spotting of brown colour. Didn't need anything other than a panty liner. But everyone can be different. Where are you in your cycle? Have you missed your period? Hopefully it's not a chemical pregnancy.

I tested faintly positive the day of the bleeding, then gradually the lines got stronger. I hope it works out for you 🤞
