Hi! Do these look like Evap lines or are they too dark to be Evap lines?

They are way too clear to be evap lines! Congratulations!

HangryBiscuit · 16/12/2024 04:12

Oh I feel your stress! Did they appear within the first few minutes of taking the tests? If so then definitely a positive but could just be too early for hormone levels to show proper line, would retest tomorrow! If they were negative for 10 mins or so then the lines appeared then likely evap but again retest for peace of mind

Crystall88 · 16/12/2024 04:43

I'd say pregnant if you're testing before your period is due and if the lines appeared straight away. The lines are too thin which is also what an evap can look like. If you're testing earlier in your cycle it could just be that they are faint positives. I would retest.

MyPinkFish · 16/12/2024 07:06

They are very thin. I am more tempted to say Evaps if you didn't look at them in time. These test 99% of the time give evaps after 15 minutes, so please don't get your hopes up if they came up after the alloted time xx

Jadex92x · 19/12/2024 18:30

I would say evaps as when I was testing I would always get thin lines on clear blue tests. My positive test was as thick as the control line .

tinymoon · 19/12/2024 18:32

I’d say that’s a positive test.

BeckyLeo · 20/12/2024 21:52

Is this an Evap line?? Taken today 8dpo, looked negative so I put it in my bag and then looked at it two hours later and it looked like this!

Sorry but I would say ignore if it didn’t come up within the recommended time frame. Those clear blue tests are absolutely notorious for evaps, I have had so many evaps with them that came up after the time frame, some of which looked very convincing.

Millybops · 03/01/2025 21:02

Did these end up being EVAP lines or positive ? X

Figaro2001 · 04/05/2025 20:17

Hi,

Did you read your result within 5 minutes?
If you are early testing, I would only use your first morning urine. If the second test come back negative it could be becasue you are early and your HCG is not yet high enough. Best to test again in the morning and read your result within the time frame. Good luck! Sending baby dust your way xx

Figaro2001 · 07/05/2025 16:40

I done another test this morning and this was the result 🤔xx

So today was 9dpo? That looks like a good positive to me :) xx

Figaro2001 · 07/05/2025 17:26

But then I done one of those week indicators and it said not pregnant so now I’m confused 😞xx

Bbydidro · 07/05/2025 19:20

I don’t do weeks indicators until I’m around 20dpo. This time around I waited until I was 5 weeks to do one. You’re testing very early and the digital require higher HCG levels. Stick to the same tests for now ;) My clinic tells me not take a pregnancy test until 15dpo and then to take another test at 17dpo. When testing early, you should test using same tests and only using FMU. Otherwise you’ll be putting yourself through a world of stress. If you’re pregnant, you are pregnant :) I know this is a really difficult time to go through but we can’t rush things along unfortunately! Your tests should be getting gradually darker everyday that’s what you can monitor at the moment if your testing everyday. Most people get their positive tests at around 10dpo - 12dpo. Xx
