Positive test or evap line?

Hey y’all!

having a minor freak out currently and didn’t know where else to ask!

I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests today, one with a really, really faint line and the other showing as negative. I did one as my second pee of the day, and the other about two hours later which is showing as negative. What are your thoughts? I cannot for the life of me tell if it’s an evap line, or if I’ve just tested too early on / too late in the day.

The lines look colourless to me I'm afraid. Clearblue are known for evaps! Can you get a pink dye brand and retest? Sending baby dust x

Thanks all, clear blue are such a nightmare! With the bloody evap lines! Gonna try a pink dye in the morning just to be sure either way! Xx

Were you physically tracking ovulation? It could be that you ovulated very late this cycle. Don't know how old you are but when I hit my 40's my cycles went haywire overnight. I went from 20 years being regular as clockwork to long and irregular cycles, sometimes skipping periods all together etc. I'm 42 now, 26 weeks pregnant and got my BFP on cycle day 56! (This may or may not be relevant to your situation).

I track my period and the app that I use also tracks ovulation, but I haven’t been tracking and trying hence the teeny bit of stress and a lot of confusion!!! I’m exactly the same, but I’m in my 20s and as soon as I hit mid 20s everything seemed to go haywire as well! 🙈 Honestly just want to know if I am or not at the moment, I would be happy either way! x

And this is a pink dye one too. So even more confusing 😅 it def looks like a line but as the others have said, that late you'd expect it to be very very strong. Surely 2 different brands can't both be evap lines??

Haha very confusing indeed! I can’t believe it. I have some more of the little strip pink dye ones, so I’m just gonna keep testing with those to be sure.

Trying not to get too excited and/or worried. It would be an absolute blessing but not sure how my family would react! 😂🙈 x
