Gender blood test in clinic

Has anyone done the First peek gender blood test at 7 weeks with window to the womb and it was accurate? Just curious as I have seen mixed reviews with some saying they got it wrong. Others saying it's not actually accurate until 10 weeks onwards? Thanks

Yes and it was wrong! Was done at 10 weeks and advised boy. I had a gender reveal and baby shower and got rid of my girl clothes and had a girl. I was happy to have a healthy baby but annoyed I got rid of my girl bits which would cost a small fortune to replace. Not great. Both window to the womb scans and lab said each other was wrong til I had the baby.

honestly not worth wasting your money. i know more people have had it wrong then right. You can find out at the anaomly scan at 20 weeks for free

Hi sorry I know this is old. But did you ever find out why they gave a wrong result?

Girlmumto3 · 31/08/2025 20:02

Nope they gave me a refund and said it was only 99.9% accurate - my 20 week scan they said boy too so was very confused. I had a girl so not sure why?
