I have had an appointment through to the app that I have on my phone which all my midwife appointments go to, but I'm confused as to what this one is for has anybody else experienced this please

Is this your first appointment? A little more detail about where you're up to in your pregnancy might help users to provide further info.

I will say however that my app (called mypregnancynotes) was similarly vague for my booking appointment - it just said the location was "community" and named a district in the city I live, which obviously wasn't helpful at all! Fortunately I had my midwife's mobile number as she had also texted me the appointment time, so I was able to get the address from her. Unfortunately the address she sent me was incorrect, and I went to the wrong location... But that's an altogether different complaint!

If you have a contact number for your midwife, reach out to them, otherwise try to find the number for the main hub of antenatal care in your area and call them if you're concerned. My app also identifies for me generically when in pregnancy I can expect midwife appointments and what they'll focus on - does yours have a section like that?

I have had this. Basically they thought I'd had a stroke so I was having lots of appointments about that. Absolutely nothing to do with being pregnant but all the appointments showed in my badger notes app with no details in them. So if you're attending hospital for appointments other than those related to being pregnant it could be that?
