I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning but it seemed to be faulty at the time as the ink ran and it the control line didn't appear straight away. It did look like there was a slight line appearing where the pregnancy line would be but obviously I disregarded the test as being faulty. I was going to buy another one but I started bleeding quite heavily not long after doing that test so I assumed my period was starting even though I'm not due for another 9 days.
I have just looked at the test again as I was about to throw it away and it now looks like this! The control line has appeared and there seems to be a pregnancy line. However, I know that changes to test results should be disregarded after so long of waiting anyway. Is it possible the ink has run onto the evaporation line and caused it to go pink? You can see where some of the ink has run in the middle. Also, I've had this bleeding starting yesterday morning which I have taken to be my period- it's heavy enough that I have been using tampons and I've had very painful cramps. I don't know if I'm just overthinking the evaporation line appearing. I do plan to do another test tomorrow.
