Today was the day for me to have my ECV to turn my stubborn baby at 38+5 weeks.
It wasn't half as bad as I had imagined/read about. After lots of monitering and a quick scan, the consultant rubbed a bit of olive oil into my tummy, pushed down very hard, in what must of been just the right places, and hey-ho round she went and her head dropped straight into my pelvis!
The pushing on my belly was slightly painful and very uncomfortable but no where near as bad as I expected.
So my babes is now the right way up, well as right as upside down is... and unfortunately it's back to the waiting game to find out when she is going to arrive. Probably another 3 weeks knowing my luck!!
