Need advice please - miscarrying ?

Hi I really just needed some advice and was hoping i could get some from this lovely little community.
my last period was 30th October. Period was due 16 days ago (22 nov). 16 days ago I had brown discharge (never usually get this before a period, only after). Anyway everytime I’d wipe there would be light red blood just a little bit which I’d put down to spotting. Done a pregnancy test 29 nov and it was 3+ pregnant. Continued to spot, but started to get a little blood on underwear. So been spotting now for nearly 2 weeks at this stage.
6 days after the test, Iv started to have a heavy bleed, needing a new pad every 4 hours. Bleeding has turned into brown discharge yesterday. Done a pregnancy test on Sunday so 9 days after the last test and it still showed pregnant. Did another today, still very strong lines.
iv had two successful pregnancies but also two miscarriages previously and always passed tissue on first / second day. Iv not passed any tissue this time. Also Iv not experienced the miscarriage cramping, just period cramps even then they’ve been manageable.
GP surgery has been a nightmare, literally doing anything to not get me an appt. Finally managed to get a blood test to check HCG levels.
please any advice would be so precious because I really don’t know what’s going on.
GP said she would expect pregnancy test to be negative given the gap in which I had tested.

How scary for you, I’m really sorry the GP hasn’t been helpful. Is there any way you can get in contact with a midwife, maybe ask the Gp surgery to arrange a phone call with the midwife, who can then refer you to early pregnancy for an early scan given your bleeding? Alternatively if you’re bleeding heavily maybe go to a&e where they can refer you, or call up your local early pregnancy assessment unit at your hospital. Depending on how far along you are they may get you in

I did initially called the early assessment ward but they told me because of how early on I am, the best thing at that stage would be to contact GP and get blood tests done. If I knew for definite; that I had a miscarriage I know what I’d be dealing with but this uncertainty is eating me alive because the hope lingers and hope is what makes it so difficult! Xx

How far along would you be? I think definitely try to get into contact with your midwife rather than the GP. I had some spotting and some sharp stabbing pains and they got me in with EPAU for an early scan at 6 weeks. Normally they don’t scan you until 7 weeks but they did for me because if the spotting, turns out all was fine. Really hope it’s the same for you xx

I’m 6 weeks today if I go by date of my last period. My old midwife hasn’t responded to my texts. I’m hoping my HCG levels from blood results will clear things up before the weekend. If not; I will give them a ring x

Just updating this thread in case anyone ever looks here for help and there’s no end outcome. I ended up in hospital as I had an ectopic pregnancy.
if you ever feel anything isn’t right, please go get checked. I found out from a private scan on Sunday and was sent urgently to my local hospital. Never ignore gut feelings!
