Yes that is high. How many times did you check? Are you feel particularly anxious ? To be honest though, as your 37 weeks I would get that checked out at the maternity triage. Could be a sign of preeclampsia

Yes that is high. Doubtful you are doing anything wrong but I can't tell on here. I would ring your maternity triage line and tell them about the reading. They will likely want to bring you in to be checked. Better to be safe.

You should definitely get checked by the midwives OP - it could be pre-eclampsia. My pre-eclampsia was only caught because I went to hospital with a vague sense that something was wrong.

I would just keep an eye on it tonight and let the midwife know tomorrow.

Id get checked. I was admitted at 39 + 1 with mild pre-eclampasia with BP of 160/106, obviously the lower number was more concerning than yours but at this gestation you should get some medical advice. I started to feel under the weather and very fatigued, booked a same day appointment with GP who sent me straight to hospital.

Do you have any other symptoms of PE?

I was diagnosed at 37 weeks after increasing symptoms for weeks - by the time I was admitted I had high protein in my urine, pretty bad swelling and some crazy visual disturbances as well as the high BP.

My BP was repeatedly high for weeks leading up to this and everytime I went in to get checked, they'd lie my down then recheck an hour later by which point it had gone down and they'd send me home.

If you have other symptoms and are worried then get checked ASAP but if just the one high BP rating and other readings have been lower plus you feel OK and baby moving normally etc then I'd just wait for tomorrow's appointment.

I would call your triage line and ask for advice especially how far along you are. If you have no childcare, what is your plan for if you went into labour tonight? Can you ask the same person to help? I had pregnancy hypertension with DD1 and preeclampsia with DD2. (150s / 110s) Both times, high BP was the first sign and I was started on meds straight away. Having said that, my hospital wouldn't accept my at home readings because my BP was just a cheap one that wasn't validated for use in pregnancy. So they lent me a hospital one to check between appointments for a while until my meds stopped controlling it and then i was going for checks at the hospital every second day. I eventually got to 39+3.
