Hi all.
Ive had a previous MMC half a year ago. On the day I found out, (had a scan in week 8), all my pregnancy symptoms faded a lot. However, in that pregnancy I didnt really have strong symptoms after all, as with my first.

Now, Im pregnant again, 10 weeks 2 days. Ive had lots of nausea and was vomitting daily, since week 6, which lasted up until 9 weeks. I had a scan in week 8, which showed everything is fine with baby. Strong heartbeat and good measures etc.
But now, since yesterday, it feels like my nausea has faded tremendously and I havent vomitted one single time today yet. Of course Im relieved a lot from the fading nausea. But at the same time, it makes me sooooo worried that something's wrong:( and so worried that I might experience a MMC again...
Ill have a scan again on Friday, for a check, so Ill just have to wait 2 days. But ugh, the waiting seems so long already...
Any of you have experienced the same, and with positive outcomes? I guess my heart needs to be put at ease.

My sickness came and went so much during my first trimester! It really eased for me around9/10 weeks then came back till I was about 14 weeks😂I'm now nearly 20 weeks with a healthy baby... Completely normal for symptoms to come and go, fingers crossed you have a healthy pregnancy x

It is a rollercoaster, defo the worst with the wait for scans... But try stay positive, and enjoy the rare moments where you can eat without being sick lol😂
Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy! ❤

Yes, I agree, the waiting time is the worst.
I will try to enjoy the good days better.

Thank you! And same to you:) <3

I had pretty much no common pregnancy symptoms in my first trimester, in fact, until I was about 22 weeks pregnant I couldn't really believe it was happening as, at 20 weeks, I looked as skinny as I did before I got pregnant and people kept making me paranoid by telling me how massive their bumps were at my stage of pregnancy. It was only when I first started to feel baby stirring a little at about 22 weeks, I have an anterior placenta so was told I wouldn't feel movement till later, that I really started to feel pregnant. I'm 34 weeks now and she's wriggling about all the time which is wonderful and most comforting. All the scans have looked fine, thank god, but up until not that long ago they were the only way I had of knowing that she was doing well in there! I only developped a small bump a few weeks ago and, even now, you wouldn't notice I was pregnant unless you looked closely.
I completely understand your anxiety, I've been terribly anxious throughout my pregnancy and would have found sickness or any other common symptoms most comforting, however unpleasant they may have been. I would never advise you to stop worrying as I know from experience how impossible that is when it comes to our babies!
However, I understand that absense of symptoms or disappearance of symptoms is not necessarily a sign that anything is amiss, I know many women who never suffered from sickness or only did so briefly who all went on to have healthy babies. Wishing you all the very best in this pregnancy!

This is very normal at this stage as the placenta takes over between 10 and 12 weeks.

In both my pregnancies my symptoms came and went a lot throughout the first trimester - I'd have weeks feeling like hell then the next week I wouldn't even feel pregnant.
DD1 is now 4 and I'm almost 25 weeks with DD2.

Hi everyone!
Thank you all so much for your replies and sharing your experiences. I appreciate it so much and it helped me to calm down my anxiety:)
I had a great scan yesterday. I saw little baby bub, wriggling around in there, with a strong heartbeat and good measures. I was sooo worried. But feel so much better now.😊

Ah that’s great news. I was going to say my sickness and nausea this time (3rd pregnancy) disappeared suddenly just before 9 weeks and I was convinced it was bad news (first pregnancy was a mmc) but the 10 week scan showed it was fine. I’m now 21 weeks.

I didnt know they could vary so much. With my DS (2nd pregnancy) the sickness continued until I was 14 weeks. So to stop this time at 9 weeks made no sense to me.
